Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Evert-Jan Petermans kicked off to start the match. Thys Van Espen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelis Van den Paenhuysen in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Juljan Sanevich was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. R Antwerp FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Voeren the free kick. A collision led to R Antwerp FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Juljan Sanevich hit a great ball. Filip Bosbeeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Herbert Ghesels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the R Antwerp FC defense, Steven De Koq kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thys Van Espen. The R Antwerp FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thys Van Espen should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Voeren's Herbert Ghesels got control of the ball when Evert-Jan Petermans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filip Bosbeeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Herbert Ghesels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Voeren's zone, Evert-Jan Petermans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Ghesels came out of the goal and Evert-Jan Petermans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filip Bosbeeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Herbert Ghesels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Evert-Jan Petermans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Ghesels. Voeren's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evert-Jan Petermans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to R Antwerp FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Sabino Penha hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thys Van Espen made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Steven De Koq sent off a good shot on target. Kristiaan Cooreman kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Herbert Ghesels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert-Jan Petermans in the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Voeren's zone, Evert-Jan Petermans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Ghesels came out of the goal and Evert-Jan Petermans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evert-Jan Petermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, R Antwerp FC's Silver Vaarmets nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herbert Ghesels made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Filip Bosbeeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Ghesels having to interfere. With a little luck, R Antwerp FC's Thys Van Espen got control of the ball when Steven De Koq tried to sneak it across the goal line. Voeren's Herbert Ghesels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert-Jan Petermans in the 79th minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Voeren's Steven De Koq made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thys Van Espen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thys Van Espen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izak Servranckx in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute Evert-Jan Petermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Ghesels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Voeren's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Bosbeeck came free, but Herbert Ghesels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. R Antwerp FC's Thys Van Espen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save R Antwerp FC from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the R Antwerp FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
