The crowd rose to their feet as Octaaf Van Meerbeec kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rajmond De Graef. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Roberto Salvino managed to get in a good position for a shot. KB Les Mauves FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Salvino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Peeters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bryan Van Turnhout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Camiel Cuelens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Georges Susters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Charly v.Parijs getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Giovanni Jooris hit a great ball. Ivan Peeters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camiel Cuelens in the 27th minute of the match. After some careless play in the KB Les Mauves FC defense, Giovanni Jooris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rajmond De Graef. The KB Les Mauves FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rajmond De Graef should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Van Turnhout in the 33rd minute of play forced Charly v.Parijs's goalkeeper Ivan Peeters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bryan Van Turnhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Roberto Salvino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Peeters was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 41st match minute, KB Les Mauves FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik-Jan Verhoeven to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Jorg Vanden Broucke from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Rajmond De Graef's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 44th minute, Ivo van der Eycken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After having played for 52 minutes, Camiel Cuelens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KB Les Mauves FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camiel Cuelens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryan Van Turnhout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Peeters having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, KB Les Mauves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Jooris came free, but Rajmond De Graef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georges Susters's late challenge caught a Charly v.Parijs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georges Susters helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, KB Les Mauves FC's Georges Susters got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Georges Susters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes KB Les Mauves FC got a freekick which was hit by Georges Susters. After a defensive mix-up in KB Les Mauves FC's zone, Giovanni Jooris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rajmond De Graef came out of the goal and Giovanni Jooris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the game, Jannic van Bedts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Rajmond De Graef was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, KB Les Mauves FC's Georges Susters got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Matthy Vandenberge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Salvino kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bryan Van Turnhout kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivan Peeters. That made the score 4-1 in the 90 minute of play. After a rather tough play, KB Les Mauves FC's Georges Susters got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Georges Susters hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. If Sebbe De Hertoge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the KB Les Mauves FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Charly v.Parijs.
