Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jorden Van Der Eyde made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th play minute Jorne Van Vyve came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Raymond Huyterhoeven. 1-0. In the 14thth minute of the game Ruben Stroobans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Volkswelvaart's Raymond Huyterhoeven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Octave Baecke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 17 minutes, Jorne Van Vyve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Impegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorne Van Vyve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Stroobans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Raymond Huyterhoeven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Jean Dheedene got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot by Seppe Ballette from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Raymond Huyterhoeven's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 28 minutes into the game, Jean Dheedene cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Matty Van Boekost was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 34 minutes into the match, Jean Dheedene notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Impegem's Matty Van Boekost. Matty Van Boekost was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jean Dheedene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matty Van Boekost having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Ruben Stroobans made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Ruben Stroobans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Impegem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 64 minutes into the match, AFC Volkswelvaart's goal looked a bit too open when Jorne Van Vyve came free, but Raymond Huyterhoeven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorden Van Der Eyde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Matty Van Boekost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorne Van Vyve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Huyterhoeven having to interfere. In the 76th minute Ruben Stroobans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Huyterhoeven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Huyterhoeven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorne Van Vyve, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Jorne Van Vyve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Huyterhoeven having to interfere. Godfried Van Caenegem hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Mattijs Van Haerschot struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Raymond Huyterhoeven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Impegem. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Stroobans in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raymond Huyterhoeven saved AFC Volkswelvaart from getting behind. Matty Van Boekost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorden Van Der Eyde in the 85th minute of play. Jorne Van Vyve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Huyterhoeven having to interfere. Matty Van Boekost made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Dheedene in the 89th minute. Jean Dheedene kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Impegem defense, Jorden Van Der Eyde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matty Van Boekost. The Impegem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matty Van Boekost should have stopped the shot. The AFC Volkswelvaart supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC Volkswelvaart would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
