Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Impegem's Ruben Stroobans started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Ruben Stroobans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute Viktor Vandeput shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matty Van Boekost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Stroobans did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Harrie Van Hove 13 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorne Van Vyve got free with Harrie Van Hove in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, KV Lennik's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Stroobans came free, but Harrie Van Hove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harrie Van Hove made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Jorne Van Vyve sent off a good shot on target. Tjorven Du Bois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matty Van Boekost having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Jorne Van Vyve was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Impegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KV Lennik the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Impegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorne Van Vyve to maneuver through the defense. Matty Van Boekost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Vandeput, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Tjorven Du Bois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matty Van Boekost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tjorven Du Bois made the kick off in the second half. Matty Van Boekost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tjorven Du Bois in the 51st minute of the match. Ruben Stroobans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harrie Van Hove read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Viktor Vandeput blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matty Van Boekost having to make a save. Matty Van Boekost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tjorven Du Bois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matty Van Boekost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tjorven Du Bois, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Jorne Van Vyve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Harrie Van Hove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Langhmans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Matty Van Boekost made a huge save. Impegem's Matty Van Boekost proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Impegem from getting a goal against them. Jorne Van Vyve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harrie Van Hove having to interfere. If Tjorven Du Bois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Jorne Van Vyve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Impegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorne Van Vyve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harrie Van Hove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Stroobans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gert Cortens hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Viktor Vandeput received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Matty Van Boekost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Impegem were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KV Lennik for a fine match.
