Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nestor Lefebre started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of K.K.A. Gent booed when SC Nieuwdorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoud Bormans didn't get a good kick on the ball. K.K.A. Gent's Pierre Cremers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Lefebre in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, K.K.A. Gent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janes Van De Look to maneuver through the defense. Pierre Cremers made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Oliver Leers sent off a good shot on target. Oliver Leers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Pierre Cremers made a huge save. In the 12th minute, K.K.A. Gent's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oliver Leers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Oliver Leers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Cremers having to interfere. Pierre Cremers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Leers in the 16th minute. Oliver Leers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, one of K.K.A. Gent:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nicolaas De Mees showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vince Huyghebaert in the 25th minute of the match. If Oliver Leers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Nestor Lefebre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Nieuwdorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Lefebre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute Roben Tilens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Cremers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. K.K.A. Gent's Pierre Cremers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save K.K.A. Gent from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vince Huyghebaert was the one to do the kick off. Pierre Cremers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roben Tilens in the 51st minute of the match. Arnold Govaerts hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Nestor Lefebre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Vince Huyghebaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 68 played minutes Vince Huyghebaert rounded SC Nieuwdorp's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Leers in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre Cremers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pierre Cremers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Lefebre in the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes SC Nieuwdorp got a freekick which was hit by Kobe Streels. After having played for 77 minutes, Vince Huyghebaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. K.K.A. Gent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vince Huyghebaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor Lefebre struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Pierre Cremers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Nieuwdorp. 84 minutes into the game, Oliver Leers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Pierre Cremers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oliver Leers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierre Cremers having to make a save. In the 91st minute, Nestor Lefebre made a precise shot to the right of Pierre Cremers. K.K.A. Gent's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
