The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jannic Bauwens during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Jannic Bauwens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francis Degens hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Racing plufine Reppel's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Morreels came free, but Delron Kozok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Patrik Morreels fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karsspor United's protests and gave Patrik Morreels a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Karsspor United getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Patrik Morreels hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Thobias Martens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karsspor United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing plufine Reppel the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Karsspor United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thobias Martens to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Racing plufine Reppel's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Morreels came free, but Delron Kozok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Karsspor United getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Charles-Louis Ruttens hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Karsspor United's goalkeeper David Esteves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Karsspor United's goalkeeper David Esteves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willem-Jan Struijf. 29 minutes into the game, Karsspor United's Josué Vides nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delron Kozok made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 32 minutes, Marc Heers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing plufine Reppel and the Karsspor United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Racing plufine Reppel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Van Schoorisse to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Karsspor United's Yannis Eggermont in action when he in the 35th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When Willem-Jan Struijf came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Racing plufine Reppel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willem-Jan Struijf couldn't finish the play. In the 44th match minute, Karsspor United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thobias Martens to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Bob Wyfliets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bob Wyfliets was the one to do the kick off. Karsspor United's Jannic Bauwens got his second yellow card of the match in the 50th minute. The referee ordered Jannic Bauwens off the ground. David Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Wyfliets, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Racing plufine Reppel's Bob Wyfliets sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Bob Wyfliets put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of David Esteves. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Josué Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karsspor United's supporters rose to their feet, but Josué Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delron Kozok breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Karsspor United's Patrik Morreels got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Bob Wyfliets who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karsspor United's David Esteves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Bob Wyfliets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing plufine Reppel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bob Wyfliets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marc Heers hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Wyfliets in the 86th minute of play forced Karsspor United's goalkeeper David Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bob Wyfliets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Francis Degens came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Racing plufine Reppel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francis Degens couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Racing plufine Reppel's Willem-Jan Struijf fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Racing plufine Reppel players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
