Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brent Valckeneers kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Luka Dauwe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jos Smeyers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mickael De Roest, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Saint-Denis defense, Luka Dauwe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierre Van Eyke. The Saint-Denis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierre Van Eyke should have stopped the shot. Pierre Van Eyke was a little too slow when Brent Valckeneers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Brent Valckeneers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KV Achtendries's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brent Valckeneers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Willem-Alexander Roelandts kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brent Valckeneers in the 36th minute of play forced Saint-Denis's goalkeeper Pierre Van Eyke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mickael De Roest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jos Smeyers having to interfere. Bartjan Van Nel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jos Smeyers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartjan Van Nel was the one to do the kick off. If Brent Valckeneers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, KV Achtendries's Luka Dauwe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierre Van Eyke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 55 in the game by Mickael De Roest from a close distance when the talented Jos Smeyers managed to make a qualified save. KV Achtendries's players were relieved. If Mickael De Roest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Saint-Denis's Sylvan Van Hespen got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes, KV Achtendries's Goffrey Hylen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pierre Van Eyke came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KV Achtendries reached it. Bartjan Van Nel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mickael De Roest took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jos Smeyers. Jos Smeyers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Bartjan Van Nel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in KV Achtendries's zone, Bartjan Van Nel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jos Smeyers came out of the goal and Bartjan Van Nel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pierre Van Eyke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent Valckeneers in the 92nd minute of play. Brent Valckeneers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Van Eyke having to interfere.
