Vic Weijnandts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Hasselqvist in the 5th minute of the match. Arne Van den Panhuyzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serge Bauwens having to interfere. With a little luck, Frietjes Met Mayonaise's Serge Bauwens got control of the ball when George De Munck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Seppe Bellinkx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when George De Munck got free with Serge Bauwens in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the game, Frietjes Met Mayonaise's Jon Hasselqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vic Weijnandts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Van den Panhuyzen in the 25th minute of play forced Frietjes Met Mayonaise's goalkeeper Serge Bauwens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jon Hasselqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Charly Bruynincx, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 31 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Serge Bauwens was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 34 minutes, Abel De Wilde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sivry-Rance and the Frietjes Met Mayonaise players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Abel De Wilde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Seppe Bellinkx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vic Weijnandts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maxime Vandenberge went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, Frietjes Met Mayonaise's goalkeeper Serge Bauwens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charly Bruynincx. Alexander Cockaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexander Cockaerts was the one to do the kick off. Serge Bauwens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franky Van Kestbeek in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by George De Munck in the 66th minute of play forced Frietjes Met Mayonaise's goalkeeper Serge Bauwens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George De Munck struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Serge Bauwens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sivry-Rance. Serge Bauwens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George De Munck in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Van den Panhuyzen in the 71st minute of play forced Frietjes Met Mayonaise's goalkeeper Serge Bauwens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serge Bauwens came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Sivry-Rance's George De Munck. But to his dismay, George De Munck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Sivry-Rance's Cesar De Raeijmaeckers got a free kick in the 78th minute. Alexandre Streels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serge Bauwens having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Sivry-Rance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Masculier to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Streels struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Serge Bauwens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sivry-Rance. The throw-in from Hans Masculier in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Frietjes Met Mayonaise's Joannes Verhaegen. Serge Bauwens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Van den Panhuyzen in the 94th minute of the match.
