Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andrew Devriendt got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sylven Olemans during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KSV Vliermaal getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sylven Olemans hit a great ball. Joost Paschiers's late challenge caught a Arlon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joost Paschiers helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Joost Paschiers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Bartjan Deman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johny Van Halbeeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbin Van den Brul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Arlon's goalkeeper Johny Van Halbeeck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, KSV Vliermaal's Lucas Van Deijck got control of the ball when Bartjan Deman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, KSV Vliermaal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Frans to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to KSV Vliermaal getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Diego Smidts hit a great ball. When Andrew Devriendt came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Arlon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrew Devriendt couldn't finish the play. Arlon's Johny Van Halbeeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbin Van den Brul in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Rene Vanooteghem made the kick off in the second half. When Arlon's Bartjan Deman in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KSV Vliermaal's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, KSV Vliermaal's William Frans got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Arlon's Andrew Devriendt managed to work through KSV Vliermaal's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Andrew Devriendt dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Devriendt in the 57th minute of play forced KSV Vliermaal's goalkeeper Lucas Van Deijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Robbin Van den Brul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bartjan Deman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bartjan Deman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Van Deijck having to interfere.
