Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Burhan Altın notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Engelbeek's Theo Van Hooveldt. Theo Van Hooveldt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Theo Van Hooveldt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lex Strupar went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Bree getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alexander Bäcklin hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match David Langendonck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bjorn Suteweij showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lex Strupar scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Theo Van Hooveldt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32ndth minute of the game Burhan Altın who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Engelbeek's Theo Van Hooveldt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Burhan Altın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bree's Stef Verheugen got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Theo Van Hooveldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stef Verheugen, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With an all-out effort, Engelbeek's Bjorn Suteweij threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sylvan Van Craesbeeck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Theo Van Hooveldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burhan Altın in the 47th minute of play. Lex Strupar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Burhan Altın to make the kick off. Bjorn Suteweij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Verhulst in the 56th minute of play. Hannes Verhulst kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burhan Altın in the 61st minute of play forced Engelbeek's goalkeeper Theo Van Hooveldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Lander Spoelberchs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Burhan Altın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bree's Lex Strupar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lander Spoelberchs, made in the 72nd minute of the game. When Burhan Altın came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Bree fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burhan Altın couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Engelbeek's zone, Burhan Altın stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo Van Hooveldt came out of the goal and Burhan Altın tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stef Verheugen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theo Van Hooveldt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Engelbeek's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Burhan Altın fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Burhan Altın who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Theo Van Hooveldt when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
