In the 9thth minute of the game Jelle Michiels who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peulis's Mitch De Ketelaere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mitch De Ketelaere didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when KV Laak's Alexander Clement shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 28th minute, Peulis's Mike Debock dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Michael Declerck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Debock in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to KV Laak getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Brent De Mesemacre hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Jelle Michiels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Mitch De Ketelaere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Peulis's goal looked a bit too open when Jelle Michiels came free, but Mitch De Ketelaere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, KV Laak's Jelle Michiels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mitch De Ketelaere made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The wind increased when Jelle Michiels made the kick off in the second half. Jelle Michiels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Mitch De Ketelaere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the KV Laak defense, Michel De Becker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Declerck. The KV Laak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Declerck should have stopped the shot. Alexander Clement scored 2-6 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mitch De Ketelaere, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 63 minutes into the match, Peulis's goal looked a bit too open when Jelle Michiels came free, but Mitch De Ketelaere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Mitch De Ketelaere throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jelle Michiels in the 66thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Mitch De Ketelaere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Clement in the 67th minute. After 68th play minutes Alexander Clement shot 2-7, a short shot which went by Mitch De Ketelaere and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Peulis getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jarne Simons hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Peulis's goal looked a bit too open when Jelle Michiels came free, but Mitch De Ketelaere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Clement could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Mitch De Ketelaere made a huge save. When Alexander Clement came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the KV Laak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Clement couldn't finish the play. The Peulis fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KV Laak were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
