In the 33rdth minute of the game Binjamin Van Boekost who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KV Comblain-au-Pont's Fabien Verdonckt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cedric Huybreghts in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabien Verdonckt saved KV Comblain-au-Pont from getting behind. Fabien Verdonckt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cedric Huybreghts in the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Binjamin Van Boekost in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabien Verdonckt saved KV Comblain-au-Pont from getting behind. Fabien Verdonckt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cedric Huybreghts, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Nicolas Cooreman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reemy Maerschalcx having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Pieter Vervoort to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, KV Comblain-au-Pont's Nicolas Cooreman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reemy Maerschalcx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to KV Comblain-au-Pont getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Conrad Van den Bossche hit a great ball. Fabien Verdonckt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cedric Huybreghts in the 59th minute of the match. When Felix Feys was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. A collision led to KV Comblain-au-Pont getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Felix Feys hit a great ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Binjamin Van Boekost managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beringen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Binjamin Van Boekost was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nicolas Cooreman came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the KV Comblain-au-Pont fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Cooreman couldn't finish the play. After 78 played minutes, Beringen's Sylvan Cerneels shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabien Verdonckt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Beringen reached it. After 80 played minutes KV Comblain-au-Pont got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Nys. Corneel Dujardin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Nicolas Cooreman notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Beringen's Reemy Maerschalcx. Reemy Maerschalcx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. KV Comblain-au-Pont were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Beringen for a fine match.
