After 4 minutes, Mattijs Hellemons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RSC Vrede and the FC Mongo players grew even worse after the yellow card. 14 minutes into the game, Tommas Seveneijns recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octaaf Deflandre. Tommas Seveneijns showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Andrus Nugis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommas Seveneijns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Mongo's Tommas Seveneijns fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Jeffrey Van Eynde made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tommas Seveneijns immediately put the ball in play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrus Nugis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adorján Sugár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jules Tilens having to interfere. A collision led to RSC Vrede getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Luuk Valckx hit a great ball. Adorján Sugár recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Mongo's zone, Adorján Sugár stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jules Tilens came out of the goal and Adorján Sugár tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Phillipe De Mare kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Tommas Seveneijns blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octaaf Deflandre having to make a save. Phillipe De Mare hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
