Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Max Caers got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Caers in the 5th minute of play forced FC Mongo's goalkeeper Jules Tilens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joris Vandenbosch took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jules Tilens. Jules Tilens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Joris Vandenbosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joris Vandenbosch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jules Tilens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommas Seveneijns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kristof Van den Broeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Joris Vandenbosch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Lokeren's supporters rose to their feet, but Joris Vandenbosch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jules Tilens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Sporting Lokeren booed when FC Mongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Raeimakers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joris Vandenbosch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jules Tilens having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tommas Seveneijns made the kick off in the second half. Tommas Seveneijns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristof Van den Broeck having to interfere. Xander Vuerinckx hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Freddy Raeimakers didn't quite understand what happened when in the 56 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 59 minutes into the game, Billie Montens threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Mongo's Remie Schautens quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tommas Seveneijns kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, FC Mongo's goal looked a bit too open when Max Caers came free, but Jules Tilens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Mongo's Freddy Raeimakers got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC Mongo booed when Sporting Lokeren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jannic Vloeberghs didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Sporting Lokeren getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Bas Vandommele hit a great ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Freddy Raeimakers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Mongo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Raeimakers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Lokeren's zone, Freddy Raeimakers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristof Van den Broeck came out of the goal and Freddy Raeimakers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristof Van den Broeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Raeimakers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Freddy Raeimakers came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FC Mongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Raeimakers couldn't finish the play. After 90 played minutes Sporting Lokeren got a freekick which was hit by Jannic Vloeberghs. Joris Vandenbosch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jules Tilens made a huge save.
