Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gillis Verdonckt took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ruben Schollens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gillis Verdonckt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. João Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sterrebeek's Robbie Volckaerts got a free kick in the 9th minute. João Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gillis Verdonckt in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sterrebeek's zone, Gillis Verdonckt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Carneiro came out of the goal and Gillis Verdonckt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Schollens might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kobe De Raeve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruben Schollens ran back to his position shaking his head. Wim Van Cleynenbreugel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gillis Verdonckt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. João Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wesemael's Gillis Verdonckt in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sterrebeek's goalie prevented a goal. João Carneiro was a little too slow when Gillis Verdonckt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. If Gillis Verdonckt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gillis Verdonckt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Carneiro was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Sterrebeek's João Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Sterrebeek from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robbie Volckaerts to strike the kick off in the second half. Robbie Volckaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kobe De Raeve having to interfere. If Robbie Volckaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Schollens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Gillis Verdonckt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wesemael's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gillis Verdonckt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luka Van Gorpt charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luka Van Gorpt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Wesemael was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luka Van Gorpt to maneuver through the defense. When Wim Van Cleynenbreugel fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wesemael's protests and gave Wim Van Cleynenbreugel a yellow card for diving instead. Wim Van Cleynenbreugel kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Wesemael could leave the field as winners, despite Sterrebeek having more of the ball for most of the match.
