A beautiful save bye KV Winnik's goalie prevented a goal. Artuur de Pelsmaeker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artuur de Pelsmaeker in the 9th minute of play forced KV Winnik's goalkeeper Lars Van Havent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, VC Sclessin's Geoffrey Van den Berchen got control of the ball when Yanniek Vincx tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Artuur de Pelsmaeker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Artuur de Pelsmaeker managed to get in a good position for a shot. VC Sclessin's supporters rose to their feet, but Artuur de Pelsmaeker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Van Havent breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Artuur de Pelsmaeker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artuur de Pelsmaeker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guust Coekelberghs in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Van Havent prevented the ball from getting in the gole. VC Sclessin's Artuur de Pelsmaeker got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Guust Coekelberghs came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the VC Sclessin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guust Coekelberghs couldn't finish the play. Lars Van Havent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artuur de Pelsmaeker in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, VC Sclessin's goalkeeper Geoffrey Van den Berchen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yanniek Vincx. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philipp Vercammen was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Arend Biesen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and KV Winnik's Lars Van Havent didn't even have to move. Geoffrey Van den Berchen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philipp Vercammen went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When KV Winnik's Philipp Vercammen in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VC Sclessin's goalie prevented a goal. VC Sclessin's Geoffrey Van den Berchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanniek Vincx in the 76th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in KV Winnik fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Philipp Vercammen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Geoffrey Van den Berchen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yanniek Vincx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geoffrey Van den Berchen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Artuur de Pelsmaeker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Philipp Vercammen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Geoffrey Van den Berchen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geoffrey Van den Berchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanniek Vincx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KV Winnik fans cheered their team off the field, for while VC Sclessin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
