Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vivy's Lauren Verschelde started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Douglas Van Eyke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Du Molin having to interfere. Sam Du Molin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Vivy's goal looked a bit too open when Jerom Sulem came free, but Sam Du Molin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauren Verschelde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvain Wouters having to interfere. Douglas Van Eyke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sam Du Molin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Schepens kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Julien Paelinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sam Du Molin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Douglas Van Eyke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylvain Wouters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauren Verschelde in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Lauren Verschelde made a precise shot to the right of Sylvain Wouters. KV Obigies's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerom Sulem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerom Sulem in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sam Du Molin saved Vivy from getting behind. After 56 played minutes KV Obigies got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Luytens. 57 minutes into the game, one of KV Obigies:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sam Du Molin came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by KV Obigies's Jerom Sulem. But to his dismay, Jerom Sulem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Douglas Van Eyke took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sam Du Molin. Sam Du Molin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. A collision led to KV Obigies getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Cederik De Prins hit a great ball. Sylvain Wouters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauren Verschelde, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Sam Du Molin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerom Sulem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alexander Schepens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Klinkenberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Sylvain Wouters made a huge save. Jerom Sulem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Sam Du Molin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
