In the 5th minute Stijn Engels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louis Smidts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik De Beer in the 10th minute of play forced Vijversele's goalkeeper Louis Smidts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teun Vandenbosch kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Louis Smidts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stijn Engels in the 14th minute of the match. With his leg Jammy Schrevens managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Vijversele's Teun Vandenbosch fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Vijversele fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Vijversele's Teun Vandenbosch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jammy Schrevens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 42nd minute of the match, Teun Vandenbosch tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jammy Schrevens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Teun Vandenbosch's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Jammy Schrevens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teun Vandenbosch got free with Jammy Schrevens in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Jammy Schrevens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teun Vandenbosch, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Teun Vandenbosch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jammy Schrevens was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the K.F.C. Diarree defense, Maxim Van Bever kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jammy Schrevens. The K.F.C. Diarree fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jammy Schrevens should have stopped the shot. Louis Smidts didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 5-1.
