Wilfried Teunis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klement Pietrowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brussels Airlines FC's Klement Pietrowicz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 8th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Wilfried Teunis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klement Pietrowicz's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When Quentin Rits fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Glabais's protests and gave Quentin Rits a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes FC Glabais got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Rits. After 21 minutes, Gavino Aurre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brussels Airlines FC and the FC Glabais players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Brussels Airlines FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Aurre to maneuver through the defense. After 23 minutes, Yanniek Imbrechts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Glabais and the Brussels Airlines FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes FC Glabais got a freekick which was hit by Yanniek Imbrechts. FC Glabais's Wilfried Teunis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Pietrowicz in the 26th minute of play. Bernd Heirpoel hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes, Brussels Airlines FC's Lode Vloeberghs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilfried Teunis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brussels Airlines FC reached it. In the last second Wilfried Teunis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Klement Pietrowicz in the 34thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Brussels Airlines FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jullian Smeulders hit a great ball. When Dante Van den Plas came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Brussels Airlines FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Van den Plas couldn't finish the play. In the 39thth minute of the game Klement Pietrowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Glabais's Wilfried Teunis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Wilfried Teunis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Pietrowicz in the 65th minute of play. If Gavino Aurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Diederick Vlimmens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Baert in the 76th minute of play. Wilfried Teunis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klement Pietrowicz's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Diederick Vlimmens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hubert Baert in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, FC Glabais's Freek Geldhof got a free kick in the 88th minute. Waut Van Hoeijveldt struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Wilfried Teunis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brussels Airlines FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Pietrowicz in the 91st minute of play forced FC Glabais's goalkeeper Wilfried Teunis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Gavino Aurre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waut Van Hoeijveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfried Teunis having to interfere. In the 96th minute Klement Pietrowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfried Teunis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
