Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to SC Beyne-Heusay getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rocky Elssen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathieux van Hollebecke in the 7th minute of play forced SC Beyne-Heusay's goalkeeper Jaques Pelsmaeckers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwin De Vaddere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Andreas van Bedts managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Beyne-Heusay's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas van Bedts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joop Pardons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edwin De Vaddere in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joop Pardons prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Sven Widdepenninck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwin De Vaddere struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Joop Pardons didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Beyne-Heusay. When Jorre Baert fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Archennes's protests and gave Jorre Baert a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Archennes got a freekick which was hit by Jorre Baert. Andreas van Bedts struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Joop Pardons didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Beyne-Heusay. Andreas van Bedts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas van Bedts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joop Pardons having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Archennes's Sven Widdepenninck got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Andreas van Bedts came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the SC Beyne-Heusay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas van Bedts couldn't finish the play. Jaques Pelsmaeckers was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pieter Van der Goten. 48 minutes into the match, Archennes's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin De Vaddere came free, but Joop Pardons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Cerneels during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, SC Beyne-Heusay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Cerneels to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, SC Beyne-Heusay's Andreas van Bedts dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. In the 73rd minute, Andreas van Bedts reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joop Pardons. The goal made the score 0-2. Joop Pardons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas van Bedts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 79 minutes, Andreas van Bedts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Beyne-Heusay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas van Bedts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Edwin De Vaddere came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the SC Beyne-Heusay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwin De Vaddere couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Archennes's Sven Widdepenninck got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Mathieux van Hollebecke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathieux van Hollebecke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jaques Pelsmaeckers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Archennes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Beyne-Heusay's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Beyne-Heusay.
