In the 3rd minute, FC Blaasveld's Andreas Van de Plas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Franck Roose in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mattheo Gijsbrechts, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arnauld Ingelborgh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Engis's Mattheo Gijsbrechts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Engis from getting a goal against them. Franck Rooses short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Mattheo Gijsbrechts to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arnauld Ingelborgh struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Mattheo Gijsbrechts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Blaasveld. Tony Van Leempoel hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Franck Roose's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Mattheo Gijsbrechts skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Jon Aelemans fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Engis's protests and gave Jon Aelemans a yellow card for diving instead. Jon Aelemans kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, FC Blaasveld's goal looked a bit too open when Paulus Ryers came free, but Claus Dhondt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Engis's Mattheo Gijsbrechts got control of the ball when Franck Roose tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jon Aelemans was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Engis's Jon Aelemans got a free kick in the 29th minute. A collision led to FC Blaasveld getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mieszko Zieba hit a great ball. Arnauld Ingelborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Franck Roose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arnauld Ingelborgh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franck Roose could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Mattheo Gijsbrechts made a huge save. Franck Roose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Mattheo Gijsbrechts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franck Roose to strike the kick off in the second half. Andreas Van de Plas struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Mattheo Gijsbrechts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Blaasveld. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franck Roose in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mattheo Gijsbrechts saved Engis from getting behind. Ludwig Hombroeckx's late challenge caught a FC Blaasveld's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludwig Hombroeckx helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Engis defense, Franck Roose kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mattheo Gijsbrechts. The Engis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mattheo Gijsbrechts should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Alek Blomme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Engis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Blaasveld the free kick. A collision led to Engis getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alek Blomme hit a great ball. Franck Roose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattheo Gijsbrechts having to interfere. Arnauld Ingelborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mattheo Gijsbrechts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franck Roose's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Andreas Van de Plas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mattheo Gijsbrechts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Blaasveld's Franck Roose got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Franck Roose sped through Engis's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mattheo Gijsbrechts. Franck Roose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes, FC Blaasveld's Jerry Andriesens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mattheo Gijsbrechts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Blaasveld reached it. In the 92nd minute of the match Brian Hoolemans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mattheo Gijsbrechts showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Franck Roose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute, Franck Roose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
