Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abraham Loremans took the kick off in the first half of the match. Abraham Loremans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Van Dessel having to interfere. Harald Van Dongels short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Roland Van Dessel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 11 minutes into the match, Bert Valckenaerts notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SK Lowingen's Sylvan Van Achter. Sylvan Van Achter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Gustaaf Van den Berge in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Popollekes's Maarten Voorhof. Bert Valckenaerts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edwin Dirckx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sylvan Van Achter having to make a save. In the 24thth minute of the game Wout Preuveneer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Lowingen's Sylvan Van Achter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wout Preuveneer in the 27th minute of play forced SK Lowingen's goalkeeper Sylvan Van Achter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harald Van Dongel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Roland Van Dessel made a huge save. Edwin Dirckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvan Van Achter having to interfere. Wout Preuveneer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sylvan Van Achter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, FC Popollekes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Harald Van Dongel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 47th minute, Maarten Voorhof hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roland Van Dessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Loremans in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Abraham Loremans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Roland Van Dessel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 minutes, Gustave Creemers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Popollekes and the SK Lowingen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, FC Popollekes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustave Creemers to maneuver through the defense. When Harald Van Dongel came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SK Lowingen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harald Van Dongel couldn't finish the play. SK Lowingen's Sylvan Van Achter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wout Preuveneer in the 58th minute of play. Roland Van Dessel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Van Dongel, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Roland Van Dessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Van Dongel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wout Preuveneer in the 65th minute of play forced SK Lowingen's goalkeeper Sylvan Van Achter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Loremans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wout Preuveneer struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Sylvan Van Achter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Popollekes. When Gustave Creemers was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. In the 76th match minute, FC Popollekes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustave Creemers to maneuver through the defense. Louis De Peuter charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Louis De Peuter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute Arnaud Decoster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylvan Van Achter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Edwin Dirckx recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sylvan Van Achter. Edwin Dirckx showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 86 minutes into the match, FC Popollekes's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Loremans came free, but Roland Van Dessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Anthoon Vincke in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Popollekes's Bert Valckenaerts. In the 91st minute Bert Valckenaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylvan Van Achter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Olivier Beullens fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Popollekes's protests and gave Olivier Beullens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Louis De Peuter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wout Preuveneer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sylvan Van Achter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SK Lowingen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Popollekes's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Popollekes.
