The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Conrad De Maesschalck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucien Lingier. Conrad De Maesschalck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Wijnendaal's Lucien Lingier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Devriendt in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match, Ian Imberechts got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucien Lingier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Conrad De Maesschalck's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lucien Lingier firmly grabbed it by the left post. 14 minutes into the game, Cederic Worteleers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lucien Lingier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute, Rolf Devriendt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bouillon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Mathias Van Hove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasper Turpin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. FC Bouillon's Mathias Van Hove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefaan Van Den Linden in the 27th minute of play. Wijnendaal's Mario Van Impe suffered a sore thigh after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 27 minutes into the game, Mario De Deygere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bouillon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wijnendaal the free kick. After 28 played minutes FC Bouillon got a freekick which was hit by Mario De Deygere. The supporters of FC Bouillon booed when Wijnendaal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefaan Van Den Linden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario De Deygere hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Stefaan Van Den Linden fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wijnendaal's protests and gave Stefaan Van Den Linden a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Wijnendaal's Stefaan Van Den Linden got a free kick in the 40th minute. Lucien Lingier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cederic Worteleers in the 44th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Conrad De Maesschalck took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Lucien Lingier to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

FC Bouillon made a substitution. Jannick Van Deijck replaced Harald Justus. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ian Imberechts made a kick off. Wijnendaal's Lucien Lingier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrad De Maesschalck in the 59th minute of play. Lucien Lingier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert-Jan De Kijser, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Jasper Turpin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Mathias Van Hove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Imberechts in the 66th minute of play forced Wijnendaal's goalkeeper Lucien Lingier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilian De Marrez hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Wijnendaal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. When Conrad De Maesschalck came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC Bouillon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrad De Maesschalck couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Bouillon fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wijnendaal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
