After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Gwen Sutens managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Wanlin's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwen Sutens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dean Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tibo Adriaensens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dean Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dean Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwen Sutens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Singelberg FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KFC Wanlin were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefaan Ceroux to make the kick off. Singelberg FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Renaud Roekeloos scored to the left of an out of position Dean Claes, making the score, 0-3. Dean Claes made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Tibo Adriaensens sent off a good shot on target. Dean Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwen Sutens in the 64th minute of play. Dean Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwen Sutens's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Singelberg FC's Dean Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Goffyn in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Reinaud Van Beetz made a precise shot to the right of Dean Claes. Singelberg FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. KFC Wanlin's Gwen Sutens got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Gwen Sutens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th play minute Tibo Adriaensens came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dean Claes. 0-6. In the 84th minute, KFC Wanlin's Gwen Sutens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dean Claes. Dean Claes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Gwen Sutens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dean Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
