Dimitris Germanos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henri-Patrick Wils in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig Polmach in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Wolfs saved SK Boseind from getting behind. Martin Gillis's late challenge caught a Zelzate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Gillis helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Gillis kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Patrick Wolfs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jozef Wuijts in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, Zelzate's Dimitry Hally made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Wolfs was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th match minute, Zelzate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jochen Thijs to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Johan Clinckspoor made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Wolfs. SK Boseind's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig Polmach in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Wolfs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Zelzate getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Johan Clinckspoor hit a great ball. Stig Polmach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Wolfs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Polmach in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Zelzate were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig Polmach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dimitris Germanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dyllan Colebinders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Polmach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Patrick Wolfs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig Polmach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Wolfs having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Stig Polmach made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. SK Boseind's Patrick Wolfs tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrick Wolfs was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stig Polmach showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 68 minute of play. In the 70th minute, Zelzate's Ief Valckenaers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Zelzate's Dimitris Germanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathijs Helsens in the 74th minute of play. When Johan Clinckspoor fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zelzate's protests and gave Johan Clinckspoor a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SK Boseind booed when Zelzate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Clinckspoor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ief Valckenaers scored 0-8 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Wolfs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
