Mathijs De Ketelaere kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Guust Francken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Dan Walters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaques Ingelborgh charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaques Ingelborgh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, GANG GANG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaques Ingelborgh to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Norbert De Raeve managed to get in a good position for a shot. GANG GANG's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert De Raeve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diederick Vereeken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norbert De Raeve hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Guust Francken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Walters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Bossuyt charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Bossuyt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Bossuyt hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Vodelee's Binjamin Pannekoek in action when he in the 47th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guust Francken to strike the kick off in the second half. When Norbert De Raeve came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the GANG GANG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert De Raeve couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Michael Meeuwissen with Guust Francken as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Binjamin Pannekoek made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Michael Meeuwissen however managed to control. In the 62nd match minute, GANG GANG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Bossuyt to maneuver through the defense. Guust Francken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Walters having to interfere. Norbert De Raeve fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 82nd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Norbert De Raeve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
