Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 2nd minute Teun Mangelschot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jules Bautmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SV Athos's Lander Dobbeleir got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Teun Mangelschot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claus Vuerinckx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kieth Diependaele's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. If Teun Mangelschot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 13 minutes, Sylven vrolix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Grinsels 2.0 R3b0øT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylven vrolix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Teun Mangelschot recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jules Bautmans. Teun Mangelschot showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sylven vrolix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Alan De Wit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claus Vuerinckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ray Enfant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Grinsels 2.0 R3b0øT's Claus Vuerinckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kieth Diependaele in the 33rd minute of play. After 39 minutes, Anthony Tuerlinckx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Grinsels 2.0 R3b0øT and the SV Athos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, De Grinsels 2.0 R3b0øT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Tuerlinckx to maneuver through the defense. Ray Enfant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claus Vuerinckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kieth Diependaele in the 44th minute of play. Claus Vuerinckx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kieth Diependaele, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sylven vrolix to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of De Grinsels 2.0 R3b0øT booed when SV Athos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lander Dobbeleir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teun Mangelschot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teun Mangelschot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jules Bautmans having to interfere. Claus Vuerinckx was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lorenzo Pacolet showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 60 minute of play. When Kieth Diependaele came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the SV Athos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kieth Diependaele couldn't finish the play. Anthony Tuerlinckx kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Louis Geerts notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of De Grinsels 2.0 R3b0øT's Claus Vuerinckx. Claus Vuerinckx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, De Grinsels 2.0 R3b0øT's Alan De Wit got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With an all-out effort, SV Athos's Claus Vuerinckx threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lorenzo Pacolet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, SV Athos's Wesly Ruelens got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 77 played minutes, De Grinsels 2.0 R3b0øT's Sylven vrolix shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jules Bautmans came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in De Grinsels 2.0 R3b0øT reached it. In the 81st minute, SV Athos's Lorenzo Pacolet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claus Vuerinckx. Claus Vuerinckx yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. 87 minutes into the match, Sylven vrolix notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of SV Athos's Jules Bautmans. Jules Bautmans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorenzo Pacolet hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Kieth Diependaele ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claus Vuerinckx was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raf Van den Berge during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sylven vrolix was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 99th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SV Athos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
