An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Imbreghts in the 4th minute of play forced De Tettenbrigade's goalkeeper Tijs Vranckx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Maerschalck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natan Mathy in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Trognee getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Rocky Rummens hit a great ball. Felix Maerschalck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natan Mathy's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Tijs Vranckx made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Patrik Van Mellaert sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st match minute, Trognee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brent-Jan Rutten to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, De Tettenbrigade's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Imbreghts came free, but Tijs Vranckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
