Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Laurens Verheije started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Waut Van Langhendoncx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yens Pelsmaeckers in the 4th minute. Yens Pelsmaeckers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Waut Van Langhendoncx made a huge save. After having played for 11 minutes, Laurens Verheije managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Oppernieuw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurens Verheije was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnout Debrouwere in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waut Van Langhendoncx saved FC Oppernieuw from getting behind. Ewout Vrijdags hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Guust Van Landewijck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waut Van Langhendoncx having to interfere. If Guust Van Landewijck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waut Van Langhendoncx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnout Debrouwere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bart De Winter fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Oppernieuw's protests and gave Bart De Winter a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Oppernieuw's Abraham De Mees got a free kick in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, FC Oppernieuw's goal looked a bit too open when Arnout Debrouwere came free, but Waut Van Langhendoncx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Debrouwere's late challenge caught a FC Oppernieuw's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnout Debrouwere helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vloesberg's Arnout Debrouwere got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnout Debrouwere stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnout Debrouwere in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waut Van Langhendoncx saved FC Oppernieuw from getting behind. In the 57th minute Guust Van Landewijck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Van Langhendoncx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ewout Vrijdags received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sammy De Wortelaers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waut Van Langhendoncx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnout Debrouwere in the 64th minute of the match. Sammy De Wortelaers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ewout Vrijdags in the 66th minute. Guust Van Landewijck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waut Van Langhendoncx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnout Debrouwere went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Ewout Vrijdags got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Vloesberg's Yens Pelsmaeckers got a free kick in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Ewout Vrijdags managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Oppernieuw's supporters rose to their feet, but Ewout Vrijdags was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sammy De Wortelaers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 played minutes Vloesberg got a freekick which was hit by Billy Jacobs. Laurens Verheije struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Sammy De Wortelaers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Oppernieuw. The supporters of FC Oppernieuw booed when Vloesberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Jacobs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bart De Winter kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. FC Oppernieuw's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
