If Loid Lyens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loid Lyens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Wilfredo Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gillis Vorster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serge Verheijd in the 32nd minute of play forced RSC Beekhoek's goalkeeper Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Loid Lyens notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC FENERBAHCE's Wilfredo Guerrero. Wilfredo Guerrero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Loid Lyens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Joost Versluys kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Wilfredo Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Van Aghten in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loid Lyens to strike the kick off in the second half. Loid Lyens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Verheijd, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Loid Lyens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind RSC Beekhoek's goalkeeper Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilfredo Guerrero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gillis Vorster went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The attack was good, but when Klement Balkiewicz in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Serge Verheijd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loid Lyens in the 79th minute of play forced FC FENERBAHCE's goalkeeper Wilfredo Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serge Verheijd struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC FENERBAHCE. Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klement Balkiewicz's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. RSC Beekhoek's Loid Lyens got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilfredo Guerrero was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leon Ceroux. Wilfredo Guerrero made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Gillis Vorster sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RSC Beekhoek eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
