Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Vits got the match started through his kick off. Gustave Rondou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Vits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieu Bruyninckx having to interfere. Soignies's Frank Vits was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Mats Liboton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mathieu Bruyninckx. Mats Liboton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Christof Van der Roost came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Soignies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christof Van der Roost couldn't finish the play. After having played for 23 minutes, Sylvain Wolfdoncx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC Nieuwpoort's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylvain Wolfdoncx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of VC Nieuwpoort booed when Soignies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre-Olivier Dekens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustave Rondou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 31 in the game by Mats Liboton from a close distance when the talented Mathieu Bruyninckx managed to make a qualified save. VC Nieuwpoort's players were relieved. With his leg Mathieu Bruyninckx managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Soignies's Mats Liboton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind VC Nieuwpoort's goalkeeper Mathieu Bruyninckx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Gustave Rondou came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the VC Nieuwpoort fans jumped to their feet. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Soignies's goalkeeper Kevin Van Aerschodt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Soignies's Kevin Van Aerschodt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylvain Wolfdoncx in the 45th minute of play. Kenneth De Weijgaert's late challenge caught a VC Nieuwpoort's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenneth De Weijgaert helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Soignies got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth De Weijgaert. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sylvain Wolfdoncx to strike the kick off in the second half. Mats Liboton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mats Liboton in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathieu Bruyninckx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Soignies's Kevin Van Aerschodt got control of the ball when Gustave Rondou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustave Rondou might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kevin Van Aerschodt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustave Rondou ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mats Liboton in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathieu Bruyninckx saved VC Nieuwpoort from getting behind. Mats Liboton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Frank Vits cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Mathieu Bruyninckx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustave Rondou might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kevin Van Aerschodt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustave Rondou ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85thth minute of the game Sylvain Wolfdoncx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soignies's Kevin Van Aerschodt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Soignies's Christof Van der Roost sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mathieu Bruyninckx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mathieu Bruyninckx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Liboton, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. VC Nieuwpoort's Mathieu Bruyninckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Vits in the 94th minute of play. If Mats Liboton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soignies's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
