Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Wart Engelberchs made the kick off and thus started the match. Kenney Hoeybroeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Portmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute, Robbie Portmans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brasschaat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thijs Decremer's late challenge caught a Brasschaat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thijs Decremer helped the player get up and apologised. Brasschaat's Robbie Portmans got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kenney Hoeybroeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Portmans in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Brasschaat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristen Van Der Talen to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rdth minute of the game Robbie Portmans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Beyne-Heusay's Kenney Hoeybroeck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bill Vereeken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Frederic Mallecots tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Armentier hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Wart Engelberchs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenney Hoeybroeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geordy Reynaerts in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Geordy Reynaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brasschaat's supporters rose to their feet, but Geordy Reynaerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenney Hoeybroeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robbie Portmans to strike the kick off in the second half. If Robbie Portmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geordy Reynaerts got free with Kenney Hoeybroeck in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kenney Hoeybroeck made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Geordy Reynaerts sent off a good shot on target. After 62 played minutes KFC Beyne-Heusay got a freekick which was hit by Teo Van Aertvin. Robbie Portmans struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Kenney Hoeybroeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brasschaat. The supporters of Brasschaat booed when KFC Beyne-Heusay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thijs Decremer didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, KFC Beyne-Heusay's Kenney Hoeybroeck got control of the ball when Geordy Reynaerts tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robbie Portmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robbie Portmans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Christoff Van Daelen fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Beyne-Heusay's protests and gave Christoff Van Daelen a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in KFC Beyne-Heusay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! In the 94th minute, the referee gave Brasschaat a penalty. Ricky Van Acht looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Kenney Hoeybroeck. Frederic Mallecots took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wart Engelberchs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 100th minute Wart Engelberchs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederic Mallecots saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brasschaat played a much better game than KFC Beyne-Heusay and deserved their victory. The KFC Beyne-Heusay players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
