Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 8 minutes, Koen Hennes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Berchem and the FC Verberckt players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Atletico Berchem getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Koen Hennes hit a great ball. Bas De Wortelaer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrad Van Meerbeec, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, FC Verberckt's goal looked a bit too open when Conrad Van Meerbeec came free, but Bas De Wortelaer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Koen Hennes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Atletico Berchem's Conrad Van Meerbeec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bas De Wortelaer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Atletico Berchem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koen Hennes to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurus Sustens in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Valcke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hans Valcke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurus Sustens in the 26th minute of play. Conrad Van Meerbeec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrad Van Meerbeec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bas De Wortelaer having to interfere. Conrad Van Meerbeec in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bas De Wortelaer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Maurus Sustens made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Conrad Van Meerbeec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Berchem's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrad Van Meerbeec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bas De Wortelaer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Verberckt's zone, Conrad Van Meerbeec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bas De Wortelaer came out of the goal and Conrad Van Meerbeec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Atletico Berchem's Jo Sempels got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 69 minutes into the game, Jo Sempels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Berchem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Verberckt the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Schaerlaekens got free with Hans Valcke in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Loui Reniers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Valcke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurus Sustens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Conrad Van Meerbeec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Berchem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Hans Valcke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steve Schaerlaekens in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, FC Verberckt's Maurus Sustens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. FC Verberckt's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
