Fredrik Vanden Bussche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerom De Groote in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, RC Asse's goal looked a bit too open when Jorre Rosbach came free, but Fredrik Vanden Bussche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RC Asse's Fredrik Vanden Bussche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerom De Groote in the 37th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerom De Groote was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorre Rosbach kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fredrik Vanden Bussche. That made the score 1-4 in the 67 minute of play. After 73 played minutes, RC Asse's Charles-Louis Van Geertruyen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frederik van Hagenborgh came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RC Asse reached it. After a rather tough play, RSC Nijvel's Alphonse Godefroid got a free kick in the 75th minute. Frederik van Hagenborgh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Ostots in the 77th minute of play. Fredrik Vanden Bussche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolphe Van Poucke in the 79th minute. Artur Loots hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. RSC Nijvel's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
