Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silvain Huybreghts took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Tibau Van Beringen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remie Rockloos, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of RSC Havay booed when SC Borgerhout was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibau Van Beringen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Tommas De Wortelaers notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of RSC Havay's Arsene De Weijngaert. Arsene De Weijngaert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jaques Van Der Linden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Julius Engelbert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvain Huybreghts struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Julius Engelbert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RSC Havay. After 27 minutes, Luc Bernaers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Borgerhout and the RSC Havay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luc Bernaers kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Jaques Van Der Linden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, SC Borgerhout's goal looked a bit too open when Silvain Huybreghts came free, but Julius Engelbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thibau Reiniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvain Huybreghts struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Julius Engelbert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RSC Havay. Jaques Van Der Linden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Engelbert having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvain Huybreghts in the 44th minute of play forced SC Borgerhout's goalkeeper Julius Engelbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes SC Borgerhout got a freekick which was hit by Tibau Van Beringen.

The wind increased when Joseph Clijsters made the kick off in the second half. Julius Engelbert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thibau Reiniers went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Silvain Huybreghts scored 2-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julius Engelbert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the SC Borgerhout defense, Silvain Huybreghts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julius Engelbert. The SC Borgerhout fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julius Engelbert should have stopped the shot. Julius Engelbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvain Huybreghts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommas De Wortelaers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsene De Weijngaert having to interfere. Thibau Reiniers kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jaques Van Der Linden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Julius Engelbert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvain Huybreghts took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julius Engelbert. Julius Engelbert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvain Huybreghts in the 85th minute of play forced SC Borgerhout's goalkeeper Julius Engelbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SC Borgerhout getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tibau Van Beringen hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Jaques Van Der Linden managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Havay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaques Van Der Linden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julius Engelbert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that RSC Havay were the better team. RSC Havay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
