Luk Justens was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gertjan De Ceijser. A hard shot 28 in the game by Rudy Debock from a close distance when the talented Luk Justens managed to make a qualified save. KV Mazee's players were relieved. After 31 minutes, Adolphe Van Boeckost made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. I QUIT I STOP BYE 4 NOW's Herbert Steurms tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Debock in the 39th minute of play forced KV Mazee's goalkeeper Luk Justens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diederick Reynders hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Herbert Steurms made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolphe Van Boeckost in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Ewout Van Poucke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luk Justens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Van Impe, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. KV Mazee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolphe Van Boeckost was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of KV Mazee booed when I QUIT I STOP BYE 4 NOW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Goethals didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Rudy Debock made a precise shot to the right of Luk Justens. KV Mazee's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The KV Mazee fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when KV Mazee's Adolphe Van Boeckost looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The I QUIT I STOP BYE 4 NOW supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KV Mazee's performance. The match ended with a win for KV Mazee.
