Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Jeremie Massenhove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richy Putman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richy Putman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremie Massenhove in the 8th minute of play. Jeremie Massenhove fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richy Putman having to interfere. Kenneth Melkval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Richy Putman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bastiaan Clijsters fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ajoin's protests and gave Bastiaan Clijsters a yellow card for diving instead. 18 minutes into the game, one of FC Ajoin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, Harry Potter FC's Bavo Huijberechts got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Richy Putman. 24 minutes into the match, Basiel Meynen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Ajoin's Richy Putman. Richy Putman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the game, FC Ajoin's Gabriel Van Kamp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danny Van Hove made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Van Kamp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danny Van Hove was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Steff Vervaet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Van Hove having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremie Massenhove was the one to do the kick off. Richy Putman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremie Massenhove, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Kenneth Melkval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Ajoin getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Bastiaan Clijsters hit a great ball. After 69 minutes, Xander-Paul Van Hecke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ajoin and the Harry Potter FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Ajoin's Xander-Paul Van Hecke got a free kick in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Harry Potter FC's zone, Gabriel Van Kamp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Van Hove came out of the goal and Gabriel Van Kamp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Steff Vervaet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Harry Potter FC's Romain Van Malcot got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Steff Vervaet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Danny Van Hove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Steff Vervaet came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FC Ajoin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steff Vervaet couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Van Kamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Harry Potter FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Ajoin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
