Kenneth Melkval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Holemans having to interfere. Kenneth Melkval could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Bruno Holemans made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Den Boom In's Johny De Messemaecker got a free kick in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenneth Melkval got free with Bruno Holemans in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Kenneth Melkval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johny De Messemaecker hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rob Biesen to make the kick off. 63 minutes into the match, Den Boom In's Rob Biesen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danny Van Hove narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Harry Potter FC's Kenneth Melkval nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Holemans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Den Boom In's Constant Schol got a free kick in the 80th minute. Kenneth Melkval recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harry Potter FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Rob Biesen scored to the left of an out of position Danny Van Hove, making the score, 2-1. Kenneth Melkval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Harry Potter FC's goalkeeper Danny Van Hove, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
