The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, KV Blauw-zwart's goal looked a bit too open when Sebbe Wuijts came free, but Jean-Louis Susters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Louis Susters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebbe Wuijts in the 5th minute of the match. Chelsea FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebbe Wuijts in the 10th minute. The corner ended in Sebbe Wuijts almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KV Blauw-zwart's Jean-Louis Susters did a great save. Mathieu-Maxim De Loose hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Galaska in the 14th minute of play forced KV Blauw-zwart's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Susters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Sebbe Wuijts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebbe Wuijts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jean-Louis Susters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Galaska in the 20th minute of play. If Sebbe Wuijts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Filip Galaska hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27th play minutes Sebbe Wuijts shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Jean-Louis Susters and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stef Tijs in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Louis Susters saved KV Blauw-zwart from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Robrecht Vanooteghem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chelsea FC's Sebbe Wuijts couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for KV Blauw-zwart. In the 42ndth minute of the game Filip Galaska who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KV Blauw-zwart's Jean-Louis Susters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gerry Spillaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauren De Putter in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filip Galaska made a kick off. Filip Galaskas short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Jean-Louis Susters to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th minute, Filip Galaska got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Filip Galaska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Susters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stef Tijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jean-Louis Susters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Coopmans in the 76th minute of the match. When Mathieu-Maxim De Loose fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KV Blauw-zwart's protests and gave Mathieu-Maxim De Loose a yellow card for diving instead. Jean-Louis Susters made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Filip Galaska sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the match, KV Blauw-zwart's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Galaska came free, but Jean-Louis Susters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Guy Coopmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guy Coopmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jean-Louis Susters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Galaska, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quillian Wijnrijx in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Louis Susters saved KV Blauw-zwart from getting behind.
