In the 10th minute, Alphonse Sterckmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 12 in the game by Alphonse Sterckmans from a close distance when the talented Miguel Verstappen managed to make a qualified save. Kortessem United's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeffery Elens in the 14th minute of play forced Kortessem United's goalkeeper Miguel Verstappen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Van Beets in the 26th minute of play forced Ruisbroek's goalkeeper Levi Heijligem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tibaut Struijf to make the kick off. A collision led to Kortessem United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alphonse Van Eijken hit a great ball. Jeffery Elens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Verstappen having to interfere. Alphonse Sterckmans scored 4-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Verstappen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Ruisbroek's Bertrand Van Meerbeeck seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bertrand Van Meerbeeck the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ruisbroek protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bertrand Van Meerbeeck had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 66th minute, one of Ruisbroek:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ruisbroek. In the 70th minute, the referee gave Kortessem United a penalty. Alphonse Van Eijken looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Levi Heijligem. Mats Van Beets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Levi Heijligem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alphonse Van Eijken in the 77th minute. The supporters of Kortessem United booed when Ruisbroek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nickolas Theys didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Ruisbroek's Kobe Huijbrechts nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Verstappen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alphonse Van Eijken got free with Levi Heijligem in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Levi Heijligem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alphonse Van Eijken in the 97th minute of play. Miguel Verstappen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alphonse Sterckmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruisbroek were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kortessem United for a fine match.
