Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Assenede defense, Jeffery Elens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilian Hofnagels. The Assenede fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilian Hofnagels should have stopped the shot. After 18 minutes, Ramon Van Landschoot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Assenede and the Ruisbroek players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ruisbroek booed when Assenede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Van Landschoot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeffery Elens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Yanis Desmet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guilian Hofnagels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alphonse Sterckmans in the 29th minute of the match. If Jeffery Elens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the game, Yanis Desmet lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Levi Heijligem. Guilian Hofnagels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alphonse Sterckmans in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Jeffery Elens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilian Hofnagels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Assenede getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Boris Tielemans hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Herve Ourogge made the kick off in the second half. Boris Tielemans took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Levi Heijligem. Ruisbroek's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot by Bertrand Van Meerbeeck from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Guilian Hofnagels's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Assenede's Guilian Hofnagels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kobe Huijbrechts in the 58th minute of play. After 59 minutes of play Assenede's Ramon Van Landschoot was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Assenede's Ramon Van Landschoot got a free kick in the 59th minute. With his leg Guilian Hofnagels managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Ruisbroek's Alphonse Sterckmans fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 78 minutes into the match, Assenede's goal looked a bit too open when Jeffery Elens came free, but Guilian Hofnagels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilian Hofnagels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffery Elens in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Assenede's goalkeeper Guilian Hofnagels, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guilian Hofnagels didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alphonse Sterckmans went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 86 minutes, Yanis Desmet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Assenede and the Ruisbroek players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Assenede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yanis Desmet to maneuver through the defense. Guilian Hofnagels acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bertrand Van Meerbeeck. Alphonse Sterckmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Assenede's Guilian Hofnagels got control of the ball when Jeffery Elens tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, Alphonse Sterckmans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilian Hofnagels was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Ruisbroek played a much better game than Assenede and deserved their victory. The Assenede players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
