In the 3rd minute Remy Schoolmeesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylvan Swiggers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Sylvan Swiggers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 10th minute, Remy Schoolmeesters made a precise shot to the right of Sylvan Swiggers. Lepelhem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 14 minutes, Andries Louckx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lepelhem and the KSV Nandrin players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, KSV Nandrin's Benedict Van Geel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sylvan Swiggers. The crowd rose to their feet as Remy Schoolmeesters kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sylvan Swiggers. That made the score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. Sylvan Swiggers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitri Van Cleynenbreugel in the 33rd minute of the match. Sylvan Swiggers made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Dries Van den Bossche sent off a good shot on target. KSV Nandrin's Yens Helssens suffered a sore thigh after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmy Fossaert during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Herve Lyens fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 41st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Jimmy Fossaert was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 44th match minute, Lepelhem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Fossaert to maneuver through the defense. Sylvan Swiggers made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Dries Van den Bossche sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Sylvan Swiggers managed to avoid a goal in the 49thth minute, when KSV Nandrin's Dries Van den Bossche fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dries Van den Bossche made a kick off. In the 54th minute Constantijn Maerschalcx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylvan Swiggers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sylvan Swiggers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dries Van den Bossche in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Lepelhem's goal looked a bit too open when Remy Schoolmeesters came free, but Sylvan Swiggers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylvan Swiggers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dries Van den Bossche, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gino Sustens during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lepelhem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dries Van den Bossche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 76 minutes of play, KSV Nandrin's Dries Van den Bossche made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sylvan Swiggers was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, Lepelhem's Erik Huts ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Van Vyve. David Van Vyve yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel De Vorster during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, KSV Nandrin's Axel De Vorster got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Sylvan Swiggers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dries Van den Bossche, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Frederic De Keijsere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
