The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stef Krabbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven De Wulf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorie Verhaghe having to interfere. Stef Krabbe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Evilstewie's Maxime De Muijser got a free kick in the 30th minute. Dries De Clerk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perry Fabry in the 31st minute of play. Sven De Wulf struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Gregorie Verhaghe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Evilstewie. Stef Krabbe fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 35th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 41st minute, Stef Krabbe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven De Wulf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregorie Verhaghe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stef Krabbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven De Wulf to strike the kick off in the second half. Maurice Van Riel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Techno Cadamuro F.C.'s Gregorie Verhaghe got control of the ball when Sven De Wulf tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Stef Krabbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 64 minutes of play, FC Evilstewie's Stef Krabbe made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorie Verhaghe was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Sven De Wulf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurice Van Riel struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Dries De Clerk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Techno Cadamuro F.C.. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Bastian Verheijd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Techno Cadamuro F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Bastian Verheijd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dries De Clerk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stef Krabbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gregorie Verhaghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven De Wulf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorie Verhaghe having to interfere. Sven De Wulf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dries De Clerk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurice Van Riel in the 87th minute of the match. Maurice Van Riel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stef Krabbe struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Gregorie Verhaghe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Evilstewie. The Techno Cadamuro F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Evilstewie were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
