Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daan Ceustermans kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Dyllan Reijnders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daan Ceustermans in the 10th minute of play forced KSV Elene's goalkeeper Florian Izemborgh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitch De Haes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dyllan Reijnders in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, KSV Elene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dyllan Reijnders to maneuver through the defense. When Dyllan Reijnders came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the KSV Elene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dyllan Reijnders couldn't finish the play. Nic Van Baerlem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitch De Haes having to interfere. Hans Gelens hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 36 played minutes, KSV Elene's Artur De Groot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mitch De Haes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KSV Elene reached it. KSV Elene's Florian Izemborgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gillis Schoolmeesters in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Gillis Schoolmeesters ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florian Izemborgh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, KSV Elene's Mario Huijghens got a free kick in the 44th minute. Florian Izemborgh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daan Ceustermans's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Gustave Weba's late challenge caught a KVSK Selange's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustave Weba helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Gustave Weba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49thth minute of the game Daan Ceustermans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KSV Elene's Florian Izemborgh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Dyllan Reijnders made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, KSV Elene's goalkeeper Florian Izemborgh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gillis Schoolmeesters. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Gillis Schoolmeesters put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Florian Izemborgh. If Daan Ceustermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute Dyllan Reijnders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitch De Haes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nic Van Baerlem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes KVSK Selange got a freekick which was hit by Mike Goffyn. Dyllan Reijnders scored 1-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mitch De Haes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gillis Schoolmeesters in the 86th minute of play forced KSV Elene's goalkeeper Florian Izemborgh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florian Izemborgh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daan Ceustermans in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, KSV Elene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dries De Graef to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 93 minutes, Hans Gelens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KVSK Selange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Gelens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The KSV Elene supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KVSK Selange's performance. The match ended with a win for KVSK Selange.
