Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zeverdonk's Tommas Soetemans started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Bjorn Vandamme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute Will Smets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Wenderix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierrot Vrancken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommas Soetemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Zeverdonk's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilles Van Hallebeecke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam Geerts's late challenge caught a SK Comblain-au-Pont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Zeverdonk got a freekick which was hit by Sam Geerts. 61 minutes into the match, Gilles Van Hallebeecke notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SK Comblain-au-Pont's Pierrot Vrancken. Pierrot Vrancken was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Zeverdonk booed when SK Comblain-au-Pont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Poets didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Gilles Van Hallebeecke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierrot Vrancken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Bjorn Vandamme fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Tommas Soetemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Will Smets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bjorn Vandamme came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the SK Comblain-au-Pont fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bjorn Vandamme couldn't finish the play. Zeverdonk's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
