Maurice Van Achten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mitch Moors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Schipmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurice Van Achten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philip Smets in the 20th minute. Ralf Schipmans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KVSK Boseind's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Berten Soens in the 29th minute. The corner led to KVSK Boseind's Philip Smets getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ralf Schipmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mitch Moors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Sem Vranken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumbeke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sem Vranken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Ralf Schipmans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KVSK Boseind's Mitch Moors was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ken Pacolet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mitch Moors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Schipmans was the one to do the kick off. Jelle Colebrants in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mitch Moors, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Rumbeke booed when KVSK Boseind was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam-Lucas Ingelbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralf Schipmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitch Moors having to interfere. The supporters of KVSK Boseind booed when Rumbeke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constant Isebergh didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rumbeke's zone, Tobias Vrancken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurice Van Achten came out of the goal and Tobias Vrancken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Tobias Vrancken put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Maurice Van Achten. When Jelle Colebrants fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rumbeke's protests and gave Jelle Colebrants a yellow card for diving instead. Maurice Van Achten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Smets, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
