Gregoire Schrijns charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Gustav Ronsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Geerts having to interfere. Quillian Van Huytvenne's late challenge caught a KAA Velroux's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quillian Van Huytvenne helped the player get up and apologised. Quillian Van Huytvenne kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ronny Geerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Bosbeeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustav Ronsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ronny Geerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, KAA Velroux's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Ronsman came free, but Ronny Geerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes, Erwin-Alexander De Haes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ramsel and the KAA Velroux players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Ramsel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin-Alexander De Haes to maneuver through the defense. Geoffry Van Laeck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 40th match minute, Ramsel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Rogiers to maneuver through the defense. Mathieu de Pelsmaecker spun around in front of the goal 41 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ramsel's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Ronsman in the 45th minute of play forced KAA Velroux's goalkeeper Ronny Geerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustav Ronsman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diego Bosbeeck took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronny Geerts. Ronny Geerts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Jannis Weijnandts was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. Jannis Weijnandts hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Ramsel's Gustav Ronsman in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KAA Velroux's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustav Ronsman in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronny Geerts saved KAA Velroux from getting behind. Jurgen van Eijnde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the game, KAA Velroux's Mathieu de Pelsmaecker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geoffry Van Laeck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Mathieu de Pelsmaecker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Bosbeeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ronny Geerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Gustav Ronsman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramsel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Ronsman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diego Bosbeeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ronny Geerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Jurgen van Eijnde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geoffry Van Laeck. Ramsel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurgen van Eijnde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Gustav Ronsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Geerts having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Gustav Ronsman took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Ronny Geerts to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KAA Velroux fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ramsel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
