Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kurt Scheerens started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Eerdegem's goal looked a bit too open when Kenn Verheijd came free, but Stefan Stessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Kent De Malier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xander Van Maestricht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Renaud Geijselinckx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Tieheide's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eerdegem the free kick. A collision led to FC Tieheide getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Renaud Geijselinckx hit a great ball. Antonio Van Hove fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xander Van Maestricht having to interfere. Kent De Malier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Eerdegem's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Stefan Stessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Scheerens in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute Kurt Scheerens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Stessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, one of Eerdegem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eerdegem. Eerdegem:s Stefan Stessel showed great skill when he stopped Regis Van Gestelt:s penalty. Antonio Van Hove who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Xander Van Maestricht when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Tieheide's Hubert Stroobans got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Eerdegem's Benoit Van Laer got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Antonio Van Hove scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xander Van Maestricht, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stefan Stessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Scheerens in the 59th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Harrie Vrijdags hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hubert Stroobans's late challenge caught a Eerdegem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hubert Stroobans helped the player get up and apologised. Hubert Stroobans kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Hubert Stroobans hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Xander Van Maestricht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent De Malier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kent De Malier kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Kenn Verheijd in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stefan Stessel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 75 minutes into the game, Kenn Verheijd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Stefan Stessel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 84 minutes, Rudi Helssen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eerdegem and the FC Tieheide players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rudi Helssen kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Kurt Scheerens managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Tieheide's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Scheerens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Stessel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kenn Verheijd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Scheerens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Tieheide's Kenn Verheijd got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Eerdegem's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Scheerens came free, but Stefan Stessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
