Benne Sproten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Neirynck having to interfere. Kenny De Beer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Joachim Gijselinx made a huge save. Gilles Neirynck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franck Gevaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Franck Gevaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Graty's Franck Gevaert got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. VC Naastveld's Gilles Neirynck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franck Gevaert in the 23rd minute of play. Joachim Gijselinx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Borglevens, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Graty's Joachim Gijselinx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny De Beer in the 27th minute of play. Ernest De Mulder's late challenge caught a VC Naastveld's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest De Mulder helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Graty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest De Mulder to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes Graty got a freekick which was hit by Dyllen Van Eyck. Graty's Felix Gijselinx pulled a muscle in his back after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tristan Bernage charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tristan Bernage the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tristan Bernage hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Benne Sproten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Graty's supporters rose to their feet, but Benne Sproten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilles Neirynck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Dekens struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Gilles Neirynck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Graty. The wind increased when Benne Sproten made the kick off in the second half. Franck Gevaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Neirynck having to interfere. Kenny De Beer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in VC Naastveld's zone, Franck Gevaert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilles Neirynck came out of the goal and Franck Gevaert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 59 played minutes VC Naastveld got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Imbrechs. Benne Sproten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gilles Neirynck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind VC Naastveld's goalkeeper Gilles Neirynck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Dominic Imbrechs fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VC Naastveld's protests and gave Dominic Imbrechs a yellow card for diving instead. Dominic Imbrechs hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With a little luck, VC Naastveld's Gilles Neirynck got control of the ball when Benne Sproten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernest De Mulder in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilles Neirynck, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benne Sproten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Neirynck having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thibau Vissenaeken during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thibau Vissenaeken hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Willem Slabbaert, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 76th minute, Kenny De Beer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joachim Gijselinx was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gilles Neirynck made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Benne Sproten sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the game, Charles-Antoine Inglebert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VC Naastveld's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Graty the free kick. Charles-Antoine Inglebert kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Dyllen Van Eyck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Neirynck having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Dominick Van Clijnenbreugel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benne Sproten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benne Sproten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Gilles Neirynck made a huge save. The VC Naastveld players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
