Ief de Reyck scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Harry Verhelst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 9 minutes, Ief de Reyck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC Zwevegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ief de Reyck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience held their breath when Andy Leemans in the 14th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Harry Verhelst's left hand side. 16 minutes into the match, Glabbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Ief de Reyck came free, but Harry Verhelst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Van Bostraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yannik Sens having to interfere. Harry Verhelst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ief de Reyck, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Yannik Sens made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Nicolas Van Bostraeten sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Glabbeek's Thibaud Vermeesch ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yannik Sens. Yannik Sens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The supporters of Glabbeek booed when VC Zwevegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ive vrolijx didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Glabbeek getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mathieu Wiechgers hit a great ball. If Ive vrolijx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. VC Zwevegem's Ief de Reyck got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Van Bostraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yannik Sens having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Ive vrolijx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 46th match minute, Glabbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vince Heremans to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Matthias Goethuys managed to get in a good position for a shot. VC Zwevegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias Goethuys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Verhelst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ief de Reyck made a kick off. When Ief de Reyck came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the VC Zwevegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ief de Reyck couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, VC Zwevegem's Ive vrolijx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harry Verhelst narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Harry Verhelst was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Ief de Reyck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ief de Reyck really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Harry Verhelst didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 66th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Nicolas Van Bostraeten struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Yannik Sens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glabbeek. If Ief de Reyck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Verhelst made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ive vrolijx sent off a good shot on target. When Tran Biesen fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glabbeek's protests and gave Tran Biesen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Glabbeek getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Tran Biesen hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, VC Zwevegem's Ief de Reyck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Ief de Reyck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glabbeek's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Ief de Reyck scored to the left of an out of position Harry Verhelst, making the score, 1-5. Ive vrolijx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Harry Verhelst made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Nicolas Van Bostraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glabbeek's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Van Bostraeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yannik Sens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. VC Zwevegem played a much better game than Glabbeek and deserved their victory. The Glabbeek players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
